Neighbors
Vacation rentals here sit alongside full-time residents. A little courtesy goes a long way. Please be friendly and respect the space of the neighbors around you.
Noise
Sound carries a long way in these quiet mountain neighborhoods. Quiet hours run 9pm to 9am. During those hours, noise from your rental should not be audible beyond the property. Outside quiet hours, please keep things reasonable.
Trash
Please don’t feed the bears. They’re excellent at raiding trash cans and terrible at cleaning up after themselves. Follow your homeowner’s trash instructions, they vary by property. If you’d rather haul it yourself, your reservation confirmation gets you free access to the local dump in Avery — the Avery Refuse Disposal Transfer Station (4541 Segale Rd, 209-795-3222 for hours).
Parking
Street parking isn’t allowed in our neighborhoods. Please park only in your rental’s driveway or garage.
Pets
Registered pets only, in properties that allow them. Leash laws apply, please clean up after your pet, and keep barking to a minimum, your neighbors will thank you.
Guest Limit
Please stick to the maximum occupancy your homeowner has listed. It’s there for safety and for the comfort of everyone nearby.
Fire Safety
We’re in a high fire-risk area, and about 95% of California wildfires are started by people. One less spark means one less wildfire. Please avoid anything that could start one: charcoal grills, cigarette disposal, campfires, and fireworks all call for real caution here.
